Google Analytics

The LIPARM interfaces are hosted at the National Library of Wales (NLW), which uses Google Analytics on its websites in order to collect statistical information to form reports on how users use its websites, which will in turn inform their future developments. This information is collected through "cookies", which are text files that are placed on your computer to collect standard anonymous internet log information (including IP address) – which is then sent to Google. More information on the cookies used by Google Analytics is available on the Google website.

The National Library of Wales or LIPARM will not use the information gathered through Google Analytics to try and identify any of our web users, nor will they allow any third party to do so. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither NLW, nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user.
